About PJ

ProJextrix was founded by Philip Jackson (PJ), a values-driven professional with over 16 years’ diverse business experience. PJ is known for his practical delivery, strategic support and his deep understanding of both business and community needs. Clients value PJ’s responsiveness, his ability to simplify the complex, and the trust he builds quickly. Whether helping a new startup get off the ground or supporting a community organisation to grow, he brings a genuine passion for impact.

Before launching ProJextrix, PJ held a range of leadership roles at one of Australia’s premier fund managers, Queensland Investment Corporation, including Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, HR Manager, and HR Operations. In these roles, he led enterprise-wide cultural change, improved HR service delivery, managed the HR Operations and Talent Acquisition teams, and delivered operational and people strategies across core HR functions, while providing strategic advice and support to business units across Australia, the US, and Europe. He has also worked in senior HR roles across the public and private sectors, including with Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in London. PJ’s approach is supported by formal qualifications, including a Diploma in HR Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (London), a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resource Management from Griffith University, and executive education in Strategic Thinking and Action through Melbourne Business School.

Outside of ProJextrix, PJ serves as National Director – Finances (Sponsors) at Pride in Law, Australia’s national LGBTIQA+ legal association. In this role, he leads financial operations and sponsor engagement, having migrated the organisation’s records from Word and Excel into Xero to improve budgeting, approvals, and transparency. He works closely with fellow National Directors, State Chapters, and sponsors to support the organisation’s growth and long-term sustainability.

PJ also holds board roles with Friends with Dignity, where he supports grants and corporate partnerships for programs assisting people affected by domestic and family violence, and Housing 4 Change, contributing to strategic planning and improved housing outcomes for vulnerable Australians. He previously served on the board of Coffee Brigade, one of Brisbane’s longest-serving community organisations supporting people experiencing homelessness, including one year as Secretary. Across all his board roles, PJ is committed to using his skills to drive social impact, community connection, and practical change.
